G.O.A.T-Greatest Of All Time for those who don’t know and there’s a lot of speculation on whether or not the New England Patriots are becoming just that in the NFL.

With the astonishing win over the Atlanta Falcons this past Super Bowl, several people are considering the Patriots to be the best team in the league. Numbers and records are hard to argue with and the Patriots are putting up the numbers and breaking down records.

In Super Bowl 51 the Patriots are the first team in history to put a game into overtime according to ESPN.com. Tom Brady, the quarter back for the New England Patriots, holds the most Super Bowl rings out of any QB in history. Tom Brady is also the most valuable player currently in the NFL. He holds four MVP awards surpassing one of the greats, Joe Montana, claims Foxsports.com

Out of all the Super Bowl match ups in History, none of them have had to be pushed into overtime, until recently when the Patriots and Falcons faced off. Tom Brady and company were down by 25 at one point in the game. The score was 3-28 with the Falcons holding this dominating lead. However, the Patriots refused to give up even though the majority of those watching did. It was a big metaphorical mountain for the Patriots to climb, but they did and shocked viewers everywhere. They soon began to put numbers on the board and somehow brought the game to 28-28 by the end of the 4th quarter, forcing the game to head into overtime. New England won the coin flip, which in turn, won them the game after driving the ball down the field and in for a touch down. This was the biggest comeback in Super Bowl history.

It is hard to say that Tom Brady isn’t the G.O.A.T when it comes to QB’s. He holds the most Super Bowl rings out of any QB. He not only takes his team to the big game but he converts when it comes to crunch time. Brady still has a lot of life in his bones and plans to play at a professional level for years to come. He tells reporters he has “maybe 10 years” left in him before he retires.

Brady is an impressive player and even his biggest critics have a hard time denying it. Brady puts up numbers that no other quarter back has been able to achieve. He has four MVP awards and he is looking for more. The way Tom Brady plays, it would not be surprising if he received several more of theses awards.

Brady and company have received much criticism over alleged scandals that they have been a part of over the past years. However, there is no denying that they are a top contender when it comes to teams in the NFL. Whether or not they are becoming the G.O.A.T. there is no arguing that they are top prospects for the position.
